As such I and Mayanja Robert executed a Parliamentary Yellow Pigs Demonstration on 18th Jun.2014. The purpose of this Demonstration was to expose the Greed and Selfishness of our leaders that one can only equate to that of pigs which-when too hungry they eat their babies. Therefore my demonstration was symbolic of how Uganda leaders’ conduct was not different from that of hungry and greedy pigs. Due to ideological differences amongst our movement members where some of whom hardly appreciated the principles of non violence, I considered coordinating a new formation “The Alternative Uganda Social Movement” which I lead to date. Under our new formation, I have coordinated various peaceful demonstration against injustices like the white overall Peaceful Demonstration which aimed at showing discontent against the amendment of the Presidential age limit. This wonderful and Peaceful Demonstration was executed on 18th.Sept.2017 in Kampala city. I coordinated “Fees Must Fall Campaigns/demonstrations at Makerere University. With an aim of compelling Uganda Government to reduce the skyrocketing University Tuition. I coordinated yet other so many peaceful demonstrations later which include “The Real Anti-Corruption Walk” This mockery walk of Jan.13th 2020 was towards the President of Uganda and his corrupt officials who had walked weeks earlier with the very corrupt officials but still pledged fighting the corrupt yet they are all his counterparts. Among so many other activities as may be seen and found on our Facebook page “The alternative Uganda” To say I have coordinated a lot of Non Violent Movement Trainings in various universities and the the entire country at large. To date I am the project coordinator of “Youth Led mobile Platform and Movement Building in Uganda” A projected funded by OSIEA expiring on August.2022. PUBLICATIONS 1.
